Your fit
We've mapped your venture profile against the funder's public criteria. Three of three core gates are clear; one supporting requirement needs evidence in your concept note.
Women-led ownership ≥ 50%. Cap table confirms 100% women-led founding team.
Operating ≥ 12 months with revenue. Your 2024 numbers cover this.
Regional eligibility. South Africa qualifies under the Africa-MENA bucket.
Measurable mission outcomes. Cartier wants ≥ 1 verifiable social/environmental KPI. Your last two annual reports are short on third-party verification — flag this in your Studio draft.
What they fund
The 2026 cycle continues Cartier's pattern of non-dilutive grant capital + 12-month accompaniment via INSEAD coaching. Funding is unrestricted at the corporate level but tagged in reporting against the three impact streams below.
Eligible uses
- Working capital for scale (hiring, market expansion)
- Productisation costs (R&D toward repeatable revenue)
- Measurement infrastructure (impact dashboards, third-party verification)
- Compliance & licensing for new markets
Will not fund
- Pre-revenue concepts without operating history
- Pure marketing or influencer spend
- Founder salary > 40% of award
- Equipment that does not return measurable use
The process
Three rounds, blind-reviewed by INSEAD faculty + sector specialists in rounds 1–2, then Cartier executive panel in round 3.
- Round 1 · Submission. Online application + concept note (max 2,500 words) + 90-second video. Closes June 24.
- Round 2 · Top 90 due diligence. Financials, references, ESG screen. July–August.
- Round 3 · In-person pitch. 33 finalists pitch in Geneva. Awards announced live. Mid-October.
